Having started his career with Nea Peramo FC, a semi-pro team in Greece from 2010 until 2016 before he moved to London for a better future. He arrived in London in August 2016 and he joined a Sunday league side team called L.A.S.E FC U16 to make the first steps in English football. In 14 games with L.A.S.E FC he scored 6 goals and had 4 assists. Next season found Karagiannis with a new challenge, he joined AEK London U17 for 4 months, he played 16 games and scored 3 goals and 7 assists also, he achieved his first cup in England with AEK London in a Christmas tournament with teams from all the sides of London. At the beginning of 2017, he made the next big step after hard work and he joined Tottenham foundation. He spent 2 calendar years as a player of Tottenham foundation and he played in 67 games. It is worth mentioning that he was a captain for the games, he played the last one year and a half with Tottenham Foundation, because of his hard work and his personality not only during the games but also in the changing rooms. In addition, he was selected twice in a group of 22 players to play a friendly game at Tottenham’s Training Ground (please see the photo below). Also, in 2019 he scored a last minute goal as a captain in the quarter final game against West Ham Foundation and sent his team on penalties for winning the penalties 5-4 by scoring the last penalty.
