We are delighted to have Bow Jackson as Ambassador to Footballers Global

Bow started at Plymouth Argyle Centre of Excellence under 16s before progressing to Plymouth Argyle Ladies first team.

When she was 18 she moved to Yeovil Town Ladies FC and stayed with them in the WSL 2 (now Championship) winning promotion in 2016/17 into the WSL.

Jackson stayed with Yeovil until 2019 then she took some time out to recover from injuries and travelled before signing for Calgary Foothills FC and playing in the UWS in USA and Canada.

On her return from overseas she resigned to Plymouth Argyle Ladies for a season before going back to Yeovil, which within this time had changed their name to Bridgwater United FC.

Outside of playing football Bow is a matchday commentator for BBC Radio Devon and works for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service as a Fitness Advisor and Firefighter.

While playing in the top flight of women’s football also developed her coaching skills, working with various coaching positions including Plymouth Argyle, Arsenal Soccer Schools and Saints Southwest. Her squad at Devon Centre of Excellence allowed her to progress through the coaching badges and complete her UEFA B licence while working with elite youth players on the England Pathway.

A big part of Bow’s journey has been the interaction with younger players and how to help develop them, she has done many school assemblies, guest coaching/player appearance sessions and works hard to help her community within the sport.

Footballers Global has created a site where players can express their ability and skill as an online platform for scouts and coaches. A great idea for any footballer to showcase their level and be recognised for their hard work.”
