Really pleased to have re-signed for Basildon United of the Isthmian North (Step 4).

Another 45 minutes in the tank, but not the result wanted going down 4-2 to a very good Saffron Walden Town. Hoping for more tomorrow night away to Stanway Rovers under the lights.

It was great to be back out on the pitch last night. It’s been a tough last month or so with being pinged having come back from holiday, meaning I wasn’t able to train for 2 weeks.

A solid 25 minutes run out in a 1-1 draw and hopefully more to come Saturday away to Saffron Walden Town in the Essex Senior League.

First game of pre-season done. Not the prettiest or most fluid performance from the team, but got the job done and happy to get the winner in a 2-1 win.
