Finished the season with a match for Lea Hall U16’s beating Lakeside Academy 5-1. This makes us Mid-Staffs Junior League champions for the second year running. Photos to follow!

6 Matches, 6 clean sheets at the City of Stoke tournament yesterday!

Yesterday I played as a guest for AFC Wulfrunians First Team who play tier 8 in the EFL. It was a tough friendly, and the adrenaline flowed leading up to kick-off. Once we got underway I felt I had a good game having plenty of involvement and dealing well with distibution.

Man of the Match! All that training really does pay off.

I’ve played for both of my teams this weekend and had great games for both, getting Man of the Match on Saturday!
All my training over lockdown has really paid off – I’m playing better than I ever have and loving every minute of it.

Covid-19 is having a real impact on U18’s football. My last league game was nearly 2 months ago although one of my coaches managed to organise a friendly against one of West Brom’s academy teams just before the most recent lockdown. It was a well matched game and I managed a clean sheet which was a nice way to go into Christmas.

What a great start to the season! Both teams, Lea Hall and Solihull Moors have won every match so far and I’ve started in every match but one. There’s a long way to go in the season though, and the pressure is on to keep up the performance. Both great teams and great fun to play for. Bring it on!!
