#Scouts – Fixtures updated now till the end of the season. A few more to be added in due course once the league re-arranges games postponed due to Lockdown. Hopefully will all stay healthy and get to finish the season. More importantly that the trial in Spain goes ahead in February.

Great afternoon with dad putting in the work in readiness for hopefully the league starting again at the beginning of December.

The photo below was taken exactly 3 years ago to the day. I went with my dad over to watch our first ever non-league football match between Basildon United and Southend Manor, which dad posted on Facebook. At that time I had no association to either club and commented on my dad’s post “That will be me soon”.

Final game last night for a while, but happy to sign off with another goal for Ockendon in a competitive 6-3 friendly win.

Ockendon Manor have scheduled in 1 last game this Wednesday evening at Aveley football club against Hamlets United. 7pm kick off.

Game was rained off yesterday and no fixture today, so no football now probably till after Christmas. Stay safe everyone!

Good training session last night. Hopefully we react positively to Tuesday nights performance tomorrow, put in a shift and come away with the points.

The less said about last nights game the better! It was our 3rd match in a week so maybe fatigue set in but going down 7-0 is hard to take. Deployed again on the right side I just didn’t get into the game and as a result came off after 75/80 minutes. Defensively we was very poor, unorganised and unable to pass or retain the ball.
