Training was very difficult tonight. I was only able to make it through half of my training before my shin points got too bad i had to sit down. I had put ice on them and tried to stay off them as much as possible. when i got home i put on compression socks to help ease the tightness in my calves.

Today was the first game back to the NPL season. It was a very good game for us to start the season off with. We won 15-0 against Western Pride and i scored top right goal from a free kick. I have been getting really bad shin splints, to help this i have been icing, stretching and will visit the physical therapist tomorrow.

I am playing as number 4 on the dark blue team.…[Read more]

Yesterday we had our first practice game against South West Queensland Thunder. It was a very good game, as i felt fit and ready to play a full game since the covid restrictions were lifted. We won 9-2 but it’s was still a challenging game as they were very physical.

As it’s school holidays and I don’t have my school training, last night I trained with the local Womens team for extra fitness. We did sprinting, dribbling, and possession drills and then finished off with a 40 minute game of cage.
